SUMMARY:
Directs and monitors the daily activities in
assigned nursing department to ensure standards of patient care are met. Plans, delegates, and directs comprehensive
nursing care by assigning, instructing, and leading a team of professional
and/or ancillary staff. Serves as clinical and professional resource and
performs the duties and responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse II. Perform other duties as designated by the Manager
or Assistant Clinical Manger.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promotes professional and ancillary team in
delivering Relationship Based Care.
Assigns, coordinates, leads, directs, and
monitors work of staff to ensure patients receive necessary quantity and
quality of care, and that daily objectives are met.
Matches patient needs to
knowledge and skill sets of staff members.
Provides Manager or ACM and/or designee with
report of unusual events.
Develops and maintains open and effective
communication with nursing staff, physicians and other care providers on the
unit and builds and maintains constructive relationships throughout the
hospital.
Seeks certification in field of Rehabilitative
Nursing within one year of hire.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.Qualifications: Graduate from a school of nursing and licensed to
practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island. BSN
and certification in area of specialty preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Minimum of 2 to 3 years nursing experience in assigned area. Demonstrated
leadership skills.

Pay Range:

$37.13-$74.26
