New Grad RN - PACU

The Cleveland Medical Center Adult PACUs are split into two areas: Mather PACU (31 beds) and MOSC PACU (24 beds). The PACU has three phases that patients go through: 1. Pre-op where they are prepped for surgery, 2. PACU where they receive post-op care after surgery, 3. Discharge - preparing patients for home 4. Extended care - patients that are floor ready

Patient Population:

• ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedic, GI, GYN, GU, vascular, plastics, oral surgery, ophthalmology, etc.

• High acuity patients

• Patients on mild vasoactive drips and/or intubated patients

• ICU overflow
