Job Overview:

The Linen Service Worker collects soiled laundry, sorts, weighs, and dries according to established policies, procedures and instructions for machine operation,

Qualifications:

Required:

Two years of general laundry experience

Rotating weekends and holidays

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm

40 Hours per week

Full Time

Essential Functions:

Answer telephones and take messages appropriately

Assembles and places linen on exchange carts for delivery to nursing units according to preestablished scheduled and par levels.

Collect soiled linen from designated collection areas throughout the facility within the established time frames

Deliver all clean linen exchange carts to the proper areas within the established frames.

Maintain daily log/tracking forms

Maintain the department and soiled utility rooms in a clean and safe environment

Stock all the clean linen in the exchange cart.
