About the Job

The University of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Program Evaluator to provide evaluation and assessment support for a postgraduate Family Medicine residency training program. This temporary position will support program evaluation, continuous quality improvement, accreditation-related assessment, and faculty development activities related to educational evaluation and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement evaluation plans aligned with accreditation requirements and institutional priorities
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data on curriculum effectiveness, resident outcomes, and program performance
  • Prepare evaluation reports and summaries for program leadership, accreditation, and internal review
  • Support faculty development by providing consultation, training, and feedback on evaluation methods, assessment strategies, and use of data for program improvement
  • Collaborate with program directors, faculty, residents, and staff to support continuous quality improvement
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • MD degree with experience running Family Medicine residency programs
  • Demonstrated experience with faculty development activities
  • Strong analytic, communication, and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graduate medical education and/or Family Medicine residency programs
  • Familiarity with accreditation and competency-based education
  • Experience supporting faculty development in educational evaluation or assessment
About the Department

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota was created more than 50 years ago in response to a legislative mandate to train primary care physicians. Since then, we have been leaders in transforming the specialty through education, research, and patient care. We are the academic sponsor of seven family medicine residencies-five in the Twin Cities, two in Greater Minnesota. We are involved in medical student education activities across the Medical School's two campuses: Twin Cities and Duluth. We sponsor five fellowship programs-sports medicine, hospice and palliative medicine, behavioral medicine, clinical informatics, and human sexuality- and offer continuing medical education opportunities. We are regularly among the top National Institutes of Health-funded family medicine departments. Our faculty are actively researching health disparities, healthcare delivery, and population health. Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
