DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In the role of Administrative Officer 1, you will oversee a comprehensive contract management program that encompasses both in-state and out-of-state contracts. This position requires strong collaborative leadership abilities to effectively supervise, mentor, and guide professional staff, ensuring that work is assigned and reviewed for technical precision. You will play a crucial role in resolving complex issues and will be responsible for maintaining all necessary files and documentation. Additionally, you will evaluate Third-Party CDL Skills Testing Services Agreements and Third-Party Non-CDL Skills Testing Services Agreements, making decisions to approve or reject these contracts. Your excellent networking skills will be essential as you participate in the contractor selection process, engage in negotiations for contracts and agreements, and finalize contract renewals. Furthermore, you will manage the organization's budget, contribute to efforts aimed at program expansion, and oversee the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that all operations align with organizational goals. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS).
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a current PA Class C driver's license which is not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
