Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power our enterprise applications Bridge the gap between development and operations Accelerate software development lifecycle (SDLC) by automating manual processes, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring 99.9% system uptime through robust monitoring and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure consistent and reproducible environments Build and optimize end-to-end deployment pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to enable rapid, low-risk releases Architect and maintain scalable environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) Implement DevSecOps practices, including automated security scanning, secrets management (HashiCorp Vault), and IAM policy enforcement Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog Partner with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve application performance and reliability Requirements: 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration Cloud Platforms: Proficient in AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP IaC Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Terraform or Ansible CI/CD Platforms: Hands-on experience with Harness (preferred), Jenkins, or GitHub Actions Strong experience with Kubernetes (Helm charts, ingress controllers, networking) Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks Solid understanding of VPCs, Subnets, Load Balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
