POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the manager of configurations and data management, the maintenance records clerk processes and screens internal shop work packages as well as creates outgoing packages for customers. This individual provides technical assistance and instruction to employees regarding maintenance documentation; and must be detail-oriented, and a self-starter with good communication skills.

Principal Duties:

  • Perform data entry and aircraft component records support in Corridor.
  • Complete applicable maintenance-related forms in accordance with established procedures and screen for accuracy.
  • Maintain work technical publication library to include updating and distribution of CMMs, changes, revisions, airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
  • Verify manuals via web access, e-mail, or phone for updates, and distribute update as necessary.
  • Accurately track installed Life Limit Components.
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date historical record on each aircraft landing gear, accessory and other time control components as applicable.
  • Generate, photocopy and print out maintenance release documents on behalf of other colleagues.
  • Engage in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, coworkers, and business associates.
  • Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the facility and job assignment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

* Performs work packet audits and confirm accuracy of information in the packets.
* Transcribes handwritten documentation into a digital format.
* Scans life-limited documents to work order packets and place originals in active packets.
* Data entry of assembly records and travelers for life-limited assemblies.

* Communicates with customer liaisons to verify life-limited information and retrieve trace documentation.
* Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES



Education:

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Required



Experience:

Two years of previous aviation records maintenance experience preferred.



Computer Skills: Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook. Able to accurately type 70+ WPM.

Experience with Corridor a plus.


Other Requirements: Excellent office skills to include maintaining and organizing files.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
