POSITION SUMMARY: The Technical Trainer is tasked with providing technical training and creating course materials tailored for MCI coaches.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Deliver technical training in a classroom and shop environment at various customer locations, MCI Academy and service centers.
  • Assists in development of training materials and solicits input for new programs.
  • Assists in scheduling training with customers.
  • Assists in development of training videos and e-learning courses.
  • Handles special assignments as required.
  • Conducts classroom training, presenting training presentations to groups of technicians along with the demonstration of practical application of the skills taught.
  • Conducts research as needed to develop or enhance training presentations.
  • Maintenance of training records for all training conducted.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High Diploma or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle drive train, electrical, air and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with heavy-duty automotive, construction or transportation equipment, preferably buses or motorcoaches.
  • Above average window-based PC skills (particularly Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and above average communication skills.
  • Self-motivating with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% with eligibility to travel to in US and Canada
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate customer training needs.

Standard Hours: - Days, hours - Mon - Fri 7:30 AM- 4:00PM
