Certified Medical Assistant - Philadelphia, PA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant training is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health, urgent care, or a similar environment.
• Familiarity with medical screenings, biometric assessments, and vital signs monitoring.
• Ability to administer medications, draw blood for labs, and manage medication-related tasks, under the direction of a CRNP or prescriber.
• Detail-oriented and organized to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle crises calmly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with individuals and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Bilingual a plus.

This role is Part-Time, Saturdays and Sundays 10:30a - 7:00p.

Earn $28.39/hr.!

Position Details

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides cross clinic support that includes assisting with: intake processes, medical screenings, medication administration and medical case management. The CMA will also collaborate with the multi-disciplinary BHUCC team to ensure strong continuity of care and will work to create and maintain a supportive and empathetic environment for individuals to help them access the care they need.
