Customer Service Representative

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Pay: Up to $21.77 an hour

Job Type: Year Long Contract




  • This role is 100% onsite during training and will transition to a hybrid schedule.





Purpose / Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact and liaison for both internal and external customers to ensure total customer satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis by entering orders, handling requests, and providing timely, professional, and courteous support. This role acts as the voice of the customer to help determine how Evident can best meet customer equipment needs.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Work with customers at all levels to assist with requests for Evident products.



  • Process transactions, including sales orders, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system.



  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Shipping to ensure timely delivery of customer orders and responses to inquiries.



  • Follow up on all transactions to ensure customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.



  • Demonstrate an understanding of the complete order process and act on each step with urgency and professionalism, taking a proactive approach to issue resolution.



  • Provide professional phone support for incoming and outgoing customer calls with a strong customer-centric focus.



  • Meet individual and team customer service KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.



  • Work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.



  • Support special projects as needed.




Minimum Qualifications

Education:




  • High school diploma or GED required.




Experience:




  • 3-5 years of experience in a business environment.



  • Prior customer service experience preferred.




Required Skills:




  • Excellent customer service skills with enthusiasm and tact, both written and verbal.



  • Strong ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize workload.



  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems and related processes.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and related applications.



  • Strong work ethic with high attention to detail.



  • Positive attitude with the ability to promote teamwork and strong working relationships.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience with SAP ERP and Salesforce CRM systems.
