What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Optical Use Case and Test Designer working close to one of our main clients in telco sector.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Senior Optical SDN/IPoDWDM/T-API Designer

What UST expects from you?

• Optical network design and planning: Proven hands-on experience with DWDM, OTN, ROADMs, transponders, and IPoDWDM architectures.
  
• T-API (Transport API): Deep expertise in service orchestration, network abstraction, and SDN-based transport control.
  
• YANG modeling & programmability: Strong experience designing, extending, and troubleshooting YANG modules; proficient with NETCONF, RESTCONF, and gRPC.
  
• Advanced Python: Expert in developing automation scripts, API integrations, and data processing for optical networks.
  
• Optical device CLI & lab configuration: Advanced skills for device validation, troubleshooting, and setting up laboratory environments for testing ROADMs, OTN switches, and transponders.
  
• Test planning & validation: Proven ability to design test plans and validate use cases strictly according to the latest T-API specifications, ensuring end-to-end service correctness and compliance.
• Good english level (B2-C1) you will be working with international teams.

Work Location

Hybrid Madrid. 2 or 3 days a week in the office.
