This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Penn State College of Medicine, Proteomics Mass Spectrometry Biomedical Core Facility is seeking a highly qualified Manager with expertise in Proteomics to lead and advance the Mass Spec & Proteomics Core. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-throughput proteomic services to support a wide range of research initiatives across the institution. This role encompasses executing complex proteomic workflows, ensuring optimal performance of advanced instrumentation, and managing efficient day-to-day laboratory operations. Strong knowledge of proteomics workflows, sample preparation, and qualitative and quantitative analysis is required and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required This is an on-site, in-person position in Hershey, PA.
