Responsibilities
Overview: In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Empower AI's internal communications strategy, enhancing our brand presence on social media, and fostering meaningful engagement with our stakeholders across various platforms. Reporting to the Human Resources team, this role will focus on targeted communications for our employees, that will engage, retain and inform all at the same time. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and dissemination of all internal communications that includes the delivery of on-brand content and messaging for employees through a variety of mediums and channels (i.e.: intranet, SharePoint, text, email, HRIS portal, collateral, video, articles, newsletters, town halls, webinars, internal and external events, social media, other
- Draft and edit a wide range of internal and external communications materials, including executive communications, HR communications, corporate announcements, internal newsletters, welcome messages, etc.
- Proactively collaborate with the Director of Marketing to execute internal communications projects and campaigns that align with, articulate, and support Empower AI Business goals and values as well as continuing to influence a positive culture and engaged workforce
- Support external communications efforts (i.e. press releases, media advisory, media lists, social media) to ensure consistency with external messaging and strategy, including those affecting company perception and reputation
- Develop and drive innovative internal communications, programs, and activities to drive employee engagement and corporate social responsibility, including supporting our HR team, TOG group, Growth team, Business Unit leads, site leads
- Oversee and coordinate Quarterly Townhalls and announcement of OPTIC and Customer Excellence Awards
- Part of the team that implements and maintains internal and external website design and content
- Coordinates company's social media presence
- Helps to analyze and measure marketing techniques to improve strategies, including researching and identifying new opportunities to expand internal communications efforts
- Assists in preparation of briefing materials as needed
- Work with Growth and TOG team to support any trade shows, conferences or partnership events; travel as needed; develop content related to these events from an employee perspective
- Participate as needed in creative team brainstorming sessions to develop theme and tagline ideas for conferences, advertisements, videos and presentations, re-made materials and other marketing-related items
- Assist Growth team with marketing giveaways/swag, including coming up with innovative ideas, researching pricing and vendor options, obtaining quotes and samples, approving artwork, placing and receiving orders, and tracking inventory
- Manages the company store, including receiving monthly inventory updates, selecting new items, ordering, managing the budget, and fielding company store inquiries from employees
- Manages vendor relationships as needed
- Coordinates employee engagement initiatives including our Wellness events
- Assist with department budget, PRs and other related information
- Designs and coordinates internal corporate communications
- Prepares and distributes internal communications related to functional business announcements
- Responsible for maintaining HR employee content on HRIS platform and SharePoint site
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of experience in marketing and communications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other Microsoft programs
- Proficiency in social media platforms
- Travel and attendance at evening events will be required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 2 - 5 Years
- Previous internal communications experience
