As a Lead Field Service Technician, you won't just work on equipment-you'll lead a 3-man crew, make decisions in the field, and be the go-to person customers rely on. You'll handle hands-on electrical work while guiding your team to get the job done safely, correctly, and on time.

What You'll Do


  • Lead a 3-person crew on field service jobs, making sure work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
  • Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related gear.
  • Train and mentor crew members, helping them build skills and stay sharp on safety.
  • Communicate with customers on-site, represent the company professionally, and keep them informed.
  • Handle job planning, daily reports, and documentation for your crew.
  • Make sure company tools and test equipment are checked in/out properly and cared for.
  • Respond to customer needs-including occasional emergency calls-with urgency and professionalism.
  • Travel locally and regionally, including some overnight work.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical trades preferred.
  • NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
  • Skilled in the use of industrial electrical test equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and drug-screen requirements.
  • Physical capability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 lbs., operate tools, and use required PPE (arc-flash gear, fall protection, respirators, etc.).
  • Eligibility to work in the US without need for employer sponsored VISA (work permit)
