Role Overview: The Data Engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data integration, transformation, and reliability across data infrastructure at Suffolk Credit Union. The Data Engineer has a strong background in data orchestration and management, with specific expertise in Airflow, Python, Windows batch scripting, Snowflake, SQL Server, and Power BI visualization. This role requires excellent communication skills and strong project management capabilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive data projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have an associates degree or post-secondary or technical education required; bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of data warehousing, database design, and programming experience (Python preferred) required.
