Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - 170,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting pay within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

The Senior Product Manager provides strategic marketing leadership for a complex portfolio of products based on customer insights, market analysis, and regular competitive review. The senior product manager should be intimate with the P&L of the product lines and identify areas for revenue growth and profit improvement in line with organization long term strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Product Innovation and Roadmap Development

Drive the product portfolio strategy by developing and executing a multi-year innovation roadmap aligned with customer needs and market trends.

  • Customer Insights & VOC (Voice of Customer)

Engage directly with customers, OEMs, and distributors to gather deep insights into their operations, pain points, and evolving needs to inform product decisions.

  • Market Dynamics & Competitive Intelligence

Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to anticipate shifts and inform product strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Product Lifecycle Management

Manage the product lifecycle from concept and development through launch and end-of-life, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer requirements, and intellectual property.

  • Opportunity Identification & Lead Generation

Identify new market opportunities, generate leads, and qualify prospects in partnership with sales and marketing.

  • Pricing Strategy

Develop and implement pricing models that reflect market conditions, customer value, and competitive positioning and maximize profitability.

  • Operational Footprint Alignment

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure product strategies align with operational capabilities and efficiencies.

  • Performance Measurement & KPIs

Define, track, and report on key product and business performance indicators to evaluate success and guide continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree required (marketing, engineering); master's degree in marketing or business strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • 10 years plus of product management experience, preferably with an industrial business with similar customer base.
  • Background in developing product line strategies and leading product portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of launching successful products and driving growth.
