Job Summary

The Student Resource Coach serves as a resource to students, connecting them to supports that help meet their basic needs. This professional is responsible for coordinating the College's Help Hub and serves as a central connection point for students navigating internal and external resources that address barriers such as housing, food insecurity, transportation, childcare, and wellness.
Working under the supervision of the Senior Director of the Center for Community & Learning and in close collaboration with Academic Success Coaches and the Behavioral Intervention and Support (BISC) Team, the Resource Coach exercises professional judgment in assessing student situations, determining appropriate supportive resources, managing data-informed response systems, and facilitating collaboration among internal and external college partners-including Wellness Services, Behavioral Management, Coaching, Student Life, the Education Outreach Center, and community-based agencies.

Essential Duties
-
Provide coordination for the design, communication, and delivery of student resource access services through the Help Hub and affiliated programs. Works collaboratively with Academic Success Coaches and the Outreach Center to ensure smooth connection of students to internal and community supports.
Provide individualized case management and referral coaching to students. Conducts intake assessments, develops individualized plans, and provides follow-up to ensure connection to needed supports.
Maintain current knowledge of college and community resources that address housing, food, transportation, financial, and wellness needs, and share this information with students and staff.
Document and track all student interactions, referrals, and outcomes using established college data systems in compliance with FERPA and institutional policy.
Collaborate with Academic Success Coaches, Wellness Services, Advisement, and community partners to coordinate timely interventions and prevent disruptions to student enrollment or success.
Conduct proactive outreach to students identified through early alert systems, faculty, or self referral to connect them with appropriate resources.
Support awareness and education activities related to resource access and student wellness by helping plan and facilitate Help Hub or community partner events.
Participate in professional development and cross-training with Academic Success Coaches and student service support teams to strengthen coordination and referral pathways.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related fields of study.
Experience managing community and school-based opportunities for academic development, assisting students with basic college requirements, and motivating students toward completing their postsecondary education.
Flexibility to exercise professional judgment and leadership, including the ability to work independently.
3 years experience providing coaching, case management, or student support in a college, school, or community agency setting that involves assessing individual needs, developing action or success plans, and connecting individuals to appropriate internal and external resources.
Experience with reporting and data analytics systems (e.g., Starfish, EAB Navigate, or equivalent CRM) for tracking interventions and outcomes.
Periodic travel between campuses, community agencies, and partner organizations is required to facilitate referrals and outreach.
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary to support college events, student engagement programs, or community partnership meetings.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, engage in moderate walking, and carry up to 20 pounds of materials for outreach events or resource fairs.
