JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of the IT specialist is to assist in all types of internal customer inquiries related to IT help desk needs and resolutions. Assist the flow of information from branches to customers to second level IT issue resolution. Manage all mobile devices and support all rollouts and maintenance of key mobile devices and platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Client Service Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Escalate problems to appropriate teams based on established guidelines and procedures
  • Communicate to end-users, management, and any call/problem tracking system regarding status of reported problems/projects
  • Collaborate with other areas to provide support and technical expertise, and resolve IT infrastructure related issues
  • Respond to technical support inquiries via phone and email
  • Follow up on requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Assist users with computing tasks and provide instruction
  • Create knowledge base articles and maintain technical support documents
  • Configure software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and a variety of cloud-based applications.
  • Implement standard procedures and proposes modifications to improve work flow
  • Recognize when process is deviating from acceptable standards and implement routine solutions
  • Install or assist service personnel in installation of hardware, software and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues regarding networks, client/server systems, PC's, desktop application software, and peripheral devices
  • Assist and train users on a new hardware or software use
  • Manage company-wide mobile devices and cell phone lifecycle and inventory with our current providers
  • Provide direct assistance on all targeted inquires on mobile platforms
  • Assist in trouble resolution and maintenance with all labeling equipment and printers in the company

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Two or more years of current/former Help Desk or IT experience required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working in a in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Previous experience supporting Window and Office applications
  • Pleasant demeanor/attitude and ability to project positive company image to customers
  • Must be reliable and flexible.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Computer knowledge fluent.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs of office supplies as needed.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and interact with people.
