What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies and disturbances within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Assist with controlling access points and monitoring for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized individuals.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical situations, when appropriate and as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Work collaboratively with site management, local law enforcement, and other Allied Universal team members as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
