Compliance Assistant Manager

What you'll do:

• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on state and federal bank compliance laws and regulations.
• Provide oversight and credible challenges to business compliance risk management activities.
• Effectively synthesize and communicate compliance information, identify root cause(s) of potential compliance risk, and provide various reports to management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank to gain insight into compliance risks associated with various line of business activities, objectives, practices, processes, and the overall control environment.
• Raise issues, execute risk assessments, and collaborate in the development and implementation of newcompliance policies, practices and tools.

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of related experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit or similar field.
• Bachelors degree in related field required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations(including federal regulations such as B, CC, E, DD, X, Z, UDAAP, UDAP, FCRA, and E-Sign), and industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate to advanced Understanding of compliance risk management practices and methodologies, including risk and control assessments, with the ability to promptly research and understand regulatory requirements.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services; proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS Office with specific focus in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)preferred
