You will play a key part in shaping our modern data ecosystem by leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) and enterprise database technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys working across data integration, administration, and governance while collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Replication & Synchronization: Implement and maintain database replication strategies to ensure high availability and consistency across systems.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Define and enforce validation frameworks, ensuring compliance with governance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Optimize SQL queries and data processes for speed, cost, and scalability, while resolving pipeline or replication issues.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with architects, analysts, and DBAs to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering and DevOps.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 8-10 years in data engineering / data management, with proven expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Database Skills: Strong hands-on background in database deployment, administration, and replication (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
  • Data Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, and Delta Lake.
  • DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD practices for pipelines and database code deployment (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Governance: Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure or Azure Database Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with real-time streaming tools (Kafka, Event Hub).
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates, Liquibase, Flyway).
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or other monitoring tools.
