Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance DevOps solutions focused on enhancing risk assessment accuracy and operational efficiency. This role will be instrumental in shaping our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to support rapid development and deployment cycles. Job Responsibilities Architecture & Strategy
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps architecture across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure/AWS).
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and governance models.
- Collaborate with solution architects and engineering leads to align infrastructure with application needs.
CI/CD & Automation
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks into the pipeline.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Architect scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions using Azure services (AKS, App Services, Functions, etc.).
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through monitoring and right-sizing.
- Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Establish observability practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
- Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for system reliability.
- Implement SRE principles to ensure SLAs and SLOs are met.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to embed DevOps culture.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of DevOps talent.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Proven experience architecting DevOps solutions in Azure (preferred) or AWS.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Deep understanding of GitOps, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Boards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
