We are searching for a Talented EMI Coordinator- Surgical Technologist

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Hours will mirror current hours. Weeknight, weekend and holiday call rotation.

Under the direction of the Manager, OR Service Group, provide technical support to the assigned service group through planning, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling all operating room equipment, materials and instruments. Provide training to OR staff on proper use of equipment. Work collaboratively with surgeon office staff, OR staff, Central Sterile staff and outside vendors in coordination of OR equipment. Responsible for carrying out and/or coordinating routine and ad hoc maintenance and repairs to equipment. Function as a Surgical Technologist as needed and assigned.

  • Graduate of approved Surgical Technologist training program or equivalent combined education and experience required.
  • Minimum three (3) years related OR experience required.
  • Must be proficient in using OR computer systems and/or personal computer applications in carrying out own position responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of surgical products, instruments and equipment required.
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
