The Electrical Engineer I is responsible for completing design efficiently using industry and organizational standards. They work with project leaders to complete conceptual designs, detailed designs, and associated documentation. An Electrical Engineer I executes simple design concepts independently and completes site visits with others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field from a four-year ABET-accredited program is required. This is an entry-level position, and while 0-3 years of experience is preferred, a combination of relevant education and practical experience, including internships or co-op positions, will also be considered. Candidates must have knowledge of electrical terminology and components, electrical symbols, and the National Electric Code (NEC). Proficiency in drafting software is preferred. EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or a willingness to obtain it is a plus. Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. Compensation: The pay range for this position is $76,800 to $124,300+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
