What You'll Be Doing:
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with current and prospective customers within your assigned territory or accounts.
  • Driving both renewal and new business generation to achieve or exceed revenue objectives for Ansys' engineering simulation solutions.
  • Crafting and delivering impactful sales presentations that clearly articulate the value and ROI of our products and services.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and customer executives to foster champions for Ansys within customer organizations.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing, technical, and support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Developing tailored proposals and quotations that address customer needs, ensuring maximum value for both the client and Ansys.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed account plans, identifying new opportunities, and tracking progress through Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Staying informed about the latest Ansys products, industry trends, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies.
  • Participating in trade shows, conventions, and customer training seminars to expand business opportunities and strengthen relationships.
  • Managing administrative processes such as order processing, contract preparation, and compliance documentation.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of technical sales experience, or 4+ years of related professional experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple sales opportunities, priorities, and account pipelines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and strong data entry skills.
  • Understanding of engineering analysis, simulation technology, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Familiarity with sales fundamentals, including proposal development, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% as required.

This position will be remote based out of Washington D.C.
