Summary Lead Housekeeper Part-Time, Third Shift BHCOR Environmental Service. I Corbin, KY Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and infection control of hospital and other BHC facility environments. The Environmental Service Team Lead is an extension of the EVS Leadership Team and has the ability to direct the workflow to maintain the operation and avoid gaps in service resulting in recovery. The EVS Team Lead represents the department while interacting with patients and visitors at the facility. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned specialty service areas. The EVS Team Lead will be proficient in all aspects of the department and conducts quality assessments with hands-on training. Job Description: Lead Housekeeper-Part-Time Day-to-Day Operations Oversees shift start-up/breakdown, linen distribution, and bed throughput Delegates workflow and ensures coverage Mentors and trains new team members Continuous Improvement (20%) Communicates with EVS Leadership on tools, equipment, and operational concerns Attends huddles and committees to improve patient outcomes Tracks inventory and orders linen supplies EVS Competence (20%) Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare cleaning/disinfection and safe chemical use Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and common areas Follows infection prevention practices and PPE protocols Uses bed tracking system for timely room completion Compliance & Quality (15%) Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements Conducts quality checks and corrects deficiencies Represents department during audits and inspections Benefits: Part-Time 4 weekly hours (0.1 FTE) - 23.99 weekly hours (0.60FTE) Preventive Plan Life Insurance Retirement Plans Flimp Decisions - Flimp Decisions will help you pick the best value plan option given your expected medical needs.
