About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cyclotron Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate cyclotron and synthesis equipment, perform quality checks on products, and ensure compliance with established procedures to support safe and efficient production of PET radiopharmaceuticals.

Hours:
Our manufacturing site operates from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This is an 8-hour overnight shift, typically starting between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., so you'll finish early in the day and have afternoons free!

What You'll Do
  • Prepare for isotope production by performing checks such as temperature, humidity, and gas pressure.
  • Set up cyclotron and chemistry modules, and clean equipment and enclosures.
  • Operate computer-controlled systems for cyclotron and chemistry modules to produce FDG or other PET radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Assist with dose preparation using manipulator arms and hot cells.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests, including sterility, purity, and residual solvent checks.
  • Perform minor maintenance on cyclotron and related equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to mix reagents and release products.
  • Label and package products for shipment, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations.
  • Monitor and order supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings to share updates and resolve issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Comfortable working with technology and computer-controlled systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening, possess a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
