Summary of Position: The College Connections and Regional Locations Manager leads strategic planning and program management to enhance prospective student engagement through campus visits, events, and student-centered communications. This role oversees operations at regional locations, ensuring alignment with institutional goals while fostering community partnerships and maintaining facility standards. The manager collaborates cross-functionally to develop and execute initiatives that support enrollment growth, including dual credit, orientation, and career pathway programs. Additionally, they supervise student workers and regional staff, contributing to key college projects and the Regional Location Optimization Plan.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required.

2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.

3. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture, and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.

4. Administration & Strategic Planning - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

  • Manage department goals and objectives through panning using key performance indicators (KPIs) that support key results and College priorities
  • Oversee and evaluate campus visits, including individual and group tours, program shadows and prospective student events,
  • Develop student-centered communications using the Customer Service Management System.

5. Program Management - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create processes and procedures for developing and delivering events for prospective students and stakeholders
  • Develop annual plan of on campus events and group tours in collaboration with the Outreach and Admissions and academic leadership
  • Oversee student workers, including Western Scouts tour guides
  • Organize, facilitate, and monitor dual credit information sessions, orientation, and registration.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate career pathway exploratory activities for K12 students.
  • Develop and facilitate events in coordination with faculty, deans and Outreach and Admissions staff.

6. Regional Locations Operations Oversight - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

  • Provide leadership for regional location operations, including facilities, safety and security, technology resources and supervision of campus coordinators
  • Lead a cross-functional team focusing on regional location operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Regional Location Optimization Plan
  • Foster relationships with community organizations in collaboration with RLC campus coordinators to promote Western's presence in the community
  • Serve on various college teams representing all regional locations
  • Lead RLC and college-wide special projects ad directed by Director of Enrollment Services

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3 yrs. occupational experience OR
  • Education in related field combined with related occupational experience totaling 7 yrs. OR
  • Related Occupational experience totaling 7 yrs.

Special Instructions/About Western

This position reports to: Director of Strategic Enrollment Management

Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $61,350 - $81,734

This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
