Position: Assistant Case Manager

Department: Life Operations

Reporting to: Life Operations Manager

Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite


Overview:

As an Assistant Case Manager, you will serve as the vital bridge between vendors, advisors, and carriers in Life Operations. Our ACMs play a crucial role in assisting their Case Manager by tracking application status and communicating with our life insurance carriers. You'll review policies, organize files in Agency Integrator, and step up as backup Case Manager with confidence. Bring your expertise to a collaborative environment where accuracy and advisor support drive success!


What you'll do:


  • Review incoming life applications and delivery requirements
  • Follow up with the doctor's facilities to expedite the records process
  • Pull, organize, and submit exams and APS records
  • Responsible for complete file documentation on each separate case in Agency Integrator
  • Be the main point of contact when the team's Case Manager is out of the office


Experience you'll bring:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member
  • Detail-oriented, focused on quality in all aspects of your work
  • PC proficiency, ability to work on several platforms at once


Bonus Points:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience related to life insurance and/or medical background
  • Prior experience working in the financial services industry
  • Previous customer service experience
