Summary of the Job:

The Credit Operations, Sr. Specialist role is accountable for consumer credit card maintenance requests on established accounts as well as reviewing a wide variety of different types of consumer applications. The Sr. Specialist will abide by applicable department guidelines and policies as well as laws and regulations when reviewing customer accounts and credit bureaus to determine an extension of credit or updating account information. The role also includes answering incoming phone call inquiries from internal and external customers and gathering application or account maintenance request information.

About This Role:

* Process standard and non-standard consumer credit card applications according to department policies and guidelines.

* Review customer account maintenance requests including but not limited to: Credit limit increases, authorized user add/removals, name changes, etc.

* Maintain the department's standard Decision and Procedure Accuracy Rating for Credit Underwriter.

* Maintain the department's Productivity Standard for Credit Underwriter.

* Provide comprehensive and professional customer service while accurately answering incoming customer inquiries from both internal and external customers

* Cross-train in functional work areas under the Credit Operations Management team as well as perform Miscellaneous Duties as assigned by management

* Understand and adhere to all policies, laws and regulations applicable to this role.

* Adhere to the banks BSA/AML program, which includes, but not limited to the customer identification program, customer due diligence policy and completing all BSA /AML training in a timely manner.

Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with departmental/divisional policy

Job Qualifications:

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned workload

* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; demonstrate professionalism

* Ability to build and develop collaborative working relationships

* Excellent attention to detail

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Proficient with Microsoft suite of products

* Ability to plan, organize and implement with minimal direction

* Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm with some required weekend days throughout the year.

* Strong decision-making skills.

* Ability to work with confidential information.

* Prior exposure/experience with credit card highly desired.

* A fast learner who has prior experience working with credit cards

Preferred Skills and Abilities (desired not required):

* College Degree or equivalent business unit work experience

* Knowledge of the First Work System, TBS, ACAPS, ICE, E-Gain

* Excellent PC skills desired

* Knowledge of Credit Operations procedures, systems and terminology, desire to learn Credit Services functions

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $36,720.00-$58,752.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
