Grade: 15
Salary Range: $139,614 - $296,513
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: Hybrid - Pittsfield, MA
Purpose/Objective:
Provides overall direction to the IT Infrastructure Services team, in the areas of:
- Organizational structure and talent management (performance and succession planning) to deliver the business' strategy, operating plan and medium-term objectives
- Transforming from tactical to strategic value oriented
- Developing capabilities (functional and managerial) to operate in diverse circumstances
- Creating an energizing work environment along with an innovative, efficient and flexible organization
Key Accountabilities:
- Directs the activities of Infrastructure Services staff and service providers responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of telecommunication, application, and hardware, which provide a production foundation for the company. 40%
- Ensures responsible areas of the technical infrastructure conforms to corporate standards and brings deficient systems into compliance. Provides direction for the development of flexible, integrated, easily maintained and operationally effective technical systems. 35%
- Develops strategic technical system initiatives in collaboration with business area management that are aligned with the company's business strategic plans. 10%
- Communicates and coordinates system activities with user departments, other Information Technology Services business areas and/or service providers to ensure systems compatibility and cross-department information needs are met. 10%
- Recommends appropriate policies and procedures. May provide support for multiple hardware platforms, operating systems, and technologies. 5%
- Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or bachelor's degree in business with course work in the computer field or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 7 years' technical, professional, and/or managerial experience with increasing responsibilities, preferably in a financial environment
- Experience managing highly performing teams of network engineers and Infrastructure Engineers
- Strong experience with Microsoft products, virtual infrastructure, and WAN design/technologies
Skills & Knowledge:
- Diagnostic/problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate technical materials to non-technical audiences
- Self-starter; able to work independently or in a group setting
