TITLE:Prep/Stager

LOCATION:Avon, Ohio (Onsite)

SHIFT & HOURS:Sunday - Thursday, (Friday Overtime) 9p.m. - 5:30 a.m.

Hiring Hourly Rate: $18.86/Hr. ($2.00 Shift Differential)

Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Prep/Stager to support production by staging raw materials in the correct batch sequence, accurately documenting production details, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency and supporting overall production readiness.

As a Prep/Stager your responsibilities will include:

* Reading and interpreting production schedules, formulas, Bills of Lading, and relevant production documents
* Following procedures exactly and documenting lot numbers, weights, and data with complete accuracy
* Opening containers using approved manual and pneumatic equipment such as can openers and knives
* Staging raw materials in the correct batch sequence using designated lot numbers
* Completing all required training and demonstrating competency in assigned tasks, including Barrel Dumper training
* Supporting BRC requirements by assisting with protocol implementation and employee training
* Ensuring products meet all safety, quality, authenticity, and legal standards
* Additional responsibilities as required to support departmental goals.

Qualified candidates will have:
* One month of related experience or training preferred
* Ability to read and follow written work instructions
* Experience with basic computer entry
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals with high accuracy

What will set you apart:
GED or High School Diploma preferred

RedZone or similar systems experience

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and listen effectively. Work will take place in both office and plant floor environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may work in cold-temperature areas as needed. The role may also require occasional operation of a forklift or electronic pallet jack to transport materials or goods.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.   • 6 Months - $19.30
  • 12 Months-$19.71
  • 24 Months- $20.15
