As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while conducting thorough screening processes. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment, making a positive impact on everyone entering the facility. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies for logistics and distribution locations.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees while following established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate security-related concerns and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities and report findings as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
