Description and Requirements

As the Managing Director - GAM for the Microsoft Global Account, you will serve as the One Lenovo interface with Microsoft, leading the global relationship across all business units and geographies. This role is responsible for driving strategic alignment, mid- and long term revenue growth, and innovation across Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), and Solutions & Services Group (SSG). You will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated, AI-enabled solutions that meet Microsoft's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain trusted strategic relationships with Microsoft's senior leadership across global and regional levels.
  • Strategic Account Leadership:
    Develop and execute a multi-year global account strategy aligned with Microsoft's business priorities and Lenovo's portfolio.
  • One Lenovo Coordination:
    Act as the single point of accountability for all Lenovo business with Microsoft, ensuring seamless coordination across IDG, ISG, and SSG. Excel in cross-team collaboration and empowering others.
  • Revenue & Growth Ownership:
    Drive aggressive revenue and margin growth through solution selling, innovation partnerships, and joint go-to-market initiatives. Think in years and execute per quarter.
  • Innovation & Co-Creation:
    Lead joint innovation efforts with Microsoft, including AI, cloud, edge computing, and sustainability solutions.
  • Global Governance & Reporting:
    Establish and lead global governance structures, cadence reviews, and performance reporting across all regions.
  • Customer Experience Excellence:
    Champion customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across all touchpoints.

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in global account management, strategic sales, or executive leadership in the tech industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.

Preferred

  • Visionary leadership with a bias for action, transformation and innovation.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-billion-dollar global accounts.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft's ecosystem, including Azure, Windows, and AI enterprise services and solutions.
  • Strong executive presence, relationship building skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, global teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation, transformation, and joint GTM strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Passion for technology and customer-centricity.
  • Experience with AI, sustainability, and digital transformation initiatives.
