Opportunity Details:

• Part-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity within a growing, hospital-based academic practice
• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative team environment
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Perform exercise echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram and participate in advanced cardiac imaging
• Teach and mentor medical residents and Weill Medical College of Cornell University

• Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $162,750* (Board Eligible) $168,000* (Board Certified) based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $255,545** (Board Eligible) $261,320** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

• Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
