Position Summary: The Quality Systems CMM Specialist is responsible to provide technical support to operations, engineering, and quality departments and support key Root Cause Corrective Action and Advanced Product Quality Planning activities. The position requires a strong understanding of converting customer's 3D representation to IGES format and PC-DMIS2014 or higher. (IGES electronic model translation) Will also require a strong working knowledge of CATIA V5. The incumbent must have 2 years or more previous experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and operational use. The position also requires the incumbent to be proficient in the use of basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. They should also be familiar with the calibration requirements and activities associated with the tools.
