General Information: The University Health Center (UHC) at James Madison University is accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Information Specialist. The successful candidate will serve as the clinical lead for the management of the electronic health record system (Medicat), including but not limited to training staff on eHR usage, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with product implementation. The successful candidate will also assist staff with technical support for computers, applications and related technology, and provide support including specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. The successful candidate will also be required to interact with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique problems. The position's responsibilities require independent analysis, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
