ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lead Construction Project Coordinator's primary responsibility is to oversee the daily responsibilities of a team of Construction Project Coordinators who support the Construction Project Management department. This position plays a key role in the coordination and distribution of work. Duties will include, but are not limited, support of functions related to project management in the electrical construction industry. The Lead Construction Projects Coordinator supports project managers with tracking and reconciling project costs, project set-up, invoice processing, filing and documentation. Company Overview Essential Functions
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations and activities of the project management support department
- Monitor workflow and team assignments
- Provide or assign coverage for personnel on PTO
- Ensure compliance with established department and company guidelines and procedures
- Participate in the implementation of department and company initiatives
- First point of contact for escalated issues, concerns or questions
- Time entry and PTO approval for team
- Develop and administer training for Construction Project Coordinators (CPC)
- Maintain and update training documentation
- Support project managers in various administrative areas
- Ensure accurate and timely generation and processing of project documentation
- Ensure project documentation is developed and maintained
- Perform as back-up to Construction Project Coordinators as needed
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner
- Oversee generation of submittals and final close-out packages; ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Assist the PMO with updating Playbook SOP's
- Other duties as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience in the construction industry
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management support role
- High school diploma or GED is required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to mentor and lead others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to think practically in order to solve problems and interface effectively with senior project personnel
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Solid knowledge of construction project management practices and procedures
- Good time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $58,000-$75,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
