Summary:
The Intake Specialist independently manages inquiries, performs admission assessments, registers patients, and provides information to individuals seeking services offered at Rogers Behavioral Health (Rogers). The pool employee must be available to work a minimum of eight (8) shifts [64 hours] per a 4 week scheduling period including three weekend days based on program needs. Actual shifts scheduled will vary by need. Must be available for primarily weekend and PM shifts. Participate in the weekend, and holiday schedule, as assigned. Level II pool employees will be required to work a regular holiday rotation (three (3) Pool staff will be required to occasionally work at other Rogers locations in absence of coverage. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Accomplish the following pre-admission steps:
Complete all documentation steps for each inquiry and assessment.
Adhere to department standards as it relates to performance measures.
Connect potential patients and/or their representative with outside resources when indicated. Collaborate with internal departments and external facilities/referents as it relates access to care. Pool employee will be expected to become familiar with Receptionist responsibilities and may be required to assist in that role when necessary. Complete other duties as assigned by Admissions leadership. Understand and apply policies and procedures in accordance with external regulatory agencies:
