Medical Biller - Collections Insurance Follow Up Manassas VA MUST: 3+ solid years of medical billing and insurance follow up Strong knowledge of claims, reimbursements and collections for Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, Workers Comp, commercial payors Working with various payors and payor portals Following up on and working denied claims Handling appeals A/R experience Reviewing EOB's Strong collections experience and comfortable making collection calls Experience taking calls from patients and responding to billing questions Charge entry and payment posting experience Experience in a surgical setting a plus DUTIES The duties of the Medical Biller/Insurance Follow up candidate include but are not limited to the following: Follow up with various insurance payors and work denied claims Take billing calls from patients and respond to inquiries Submit appeals on rejected claims Resubmit claims for payment Handle charge entry and payment posting Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
