Lubbock Business Coordinator 42979BR Accounting Services Position Description Performs coordinative work in the business or administrative operation of a specific department or college. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a department as well as the monitoring operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise staff or student assistants. About the Department and/or College Accounting Services oversees financial reporting, accounting, asset management, and post-award research administration for Texas Tech University. Our success is measured by our ability to partner with the campus community, provide innovative solutions, and guide our customers through resource allocation amid an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Our office consists of 50-55 dedicated professionals, working to aid the University's scholarship and research missions. Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal six (6) years. Preferred Qualifications Degree in a business major. Travel Required Up to 25% Shift Day Schedule Details M-F; 8:00am-5:00pm. Overtime may be required during peak business times. Grant Funded?
