Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Tech
Wage: $26.00-$33.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) Take your maintenance skills to the next level with this great role in St. Charles, MO! Work a Monday-Friday schedule, $26-$33/hr. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, CNC equipment, electrical systems, and hydraulics in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment. Industrial Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, automation systems, material handling equipment, and general production machinery. - Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend machine life. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, electrical prints, and equipment manuals. - Install, maintain, and repair electrical components such as motors, sensors, wiring, control panels, and PLC-controlled systems (basic PLC knowledge preferred). - Repair and service pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, gearboxes, and drives. - Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, compressors, and auxiliary equipment as required. - Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status in maintenance logs or CMMS. - Support continuous improvement efforts, root-cause analysis, and equipment upgrades to improve safety and efficiency. - Respond quickly to production calls, troubleshoot issues, and ensure machines return to service with minimal delay. - Adhere to all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant protocols. - Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote a safe working environment. Industrial Maintenance Tech Requirements: - 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production facility. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to diagnose issues using testing instruments such as multimeters, gauges, or diagnostic tools. - Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery. - Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment. - Experience maintaining CNC machinery (Haas, Okuma, or similar) preferred. - Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred. - Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing preferred. - Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement principles preferred. korea.willingham@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
