Description
SUMMARY: As the Event Presentation and Control Room Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of year-round, live broadcast and production operations within the venue's IP control room. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and guidance for all control room use cases, ensuring efficient and effective operations during all live broadcasts and production events.
- Monitor the technical integrity of all Production Control Room equipment and systems, promptly identifying technical issues and working with the lead engineer as appropriate on resolution.
- Work closely with departments, such as Marketing, Sponsorship, Special Events, Food & Beverage, Community Relations, etc., as needed to support organizational goals during live productions and throughout the year.
- Produce and show call for a variety of games and events at Gillette Stadium, including New England Revolution matches, MIAA football, Patriots Training Camp, and more
- Crew all live events (i.e., director, camera operators, replay operators, switcher, stats, Xpression, etc.) and acclimate staff to event-specific details including event presentations goals, run of show, asset list, etc.
- Manage overall schedule of the Production Control Room and ensure compliance with central calendaring solution is followed.
- Analyze labor and execution costs to provide informed recommendations on event-specific pricing supporting accurate budget forecasting and financial planning.
- Oversee all content coming into the control room including archiving assets and recordkeeping.
- Maintain and update comprehensive Production Control Room procedures and workflows to maintain consistent quality and standards.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for Production Control Room personnel to enhance their operating skills and knowledge. Serve as a fill-in position in the event of any staff deficiencies.
- Stay abreast of industry standards, and best practices and the latest advancements in video technology, including IP-based video transport and 2110 systems, and surface recommendations for keeping the Production Control Room operating effectively.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree.
- 4-6 years' experience with live event control room management.
- In-depth knowledge of video equipment and systems, including VS Replay hardware/software, Ross Xpression/video playback software, technical directing and knowledge of broadcast-level switchers, broadcast camera operation, audio board operation, and basic understanding of A/V signal flow.
- Show Control/Daktronics sign display software a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with IP-based video transport and 2110 systems strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure and operations a plus.
- Strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Be able to read and understand technical materials.
