$18.88 to $20.77 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment, including a ten (10) wheel standard shift dump truck used for hauling construction materials to build roads and install drainage structures. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience and knowledge of roadway construction, along with familiarity with a work management system that includes tasks like opening and closing work orders and uploading photo documentation is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This job involves heavy physical labor and exposure to construction debris, moving machinery, traffic, extreme weather conditions, noise, dirt, dust, and water. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
