Overview: We are seeking an experienced Contract Writer to join our team. This role is critical in drafting and reviewing documentation for procurement activities, including purchase orders, service agreements, vendor contracts, modifications, and amendments. The ideal candidate will ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance across all documentation while collaborating with multiple business units and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Draft and review contract documentation, including scope of services, performance requirements, and terms and conditions. * Develop language that defines delivery, service quality, and pricing for procured products and services. * Maintain an internal documentation library and coordinate special documentation services as needed. * Oversee special projects and ensure adherence to organizational protocols and procedures. * Create new contractual language tailored to business needs rather than relying solely on templates. Required Skills: * Technical writing and documentation expertise. * Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Knowledge management and content writing capabilities. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience). * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business or technical writing with working knowledge of procurement processes and documentation. * Complexity: Ability to manage moderately complex to complex document projects; may mentor junior staff. Preferred Experience: * Familiarity with federal, state, and/or local procurement laws and regulations. * Strong collaboration skills to work with legal counsel, procurement officers, and business stakeholders. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boca Raton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $56.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
