Your Impact In this role you will have the opportunity to be an entrepreneur, identifying new opportunities to help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals. You will provide your knowledge and expertise to top managers at client organizations. You will coach, lead, and advise consultants as they develop, framing business problems in a way that they can take action to solve. You will join teams in problem solving sessions and be a thought partner to engagement managers on both team and client management. You will typically lead multiple teams of 3-5 consultants and will help our clients in the Operations and Life Sciences sectors solve some of their most pressing problems. You will work with a range of experts in the firm, from consultants to data scientists to researchers to software and app designers. Your qualifications and skills Undergraduate degree required, master's degree in business, organizational development, operations or related disciplines preferred 10+ years of work experience after graduate school, focused on people and organizational challenges within Operations and Life Sciences Prior experience as a consultant in a professional services firm required Entrepreneurial drive to develop new client relationships and generate business development opportunities Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization Ability to break down and solve business problems through quantitative thinking and analysis Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations Publication of knowledge or thought leadership in your industry space is a plus Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language(s) Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
