Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Manager/Director of Performance Improvement, the Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and State/Federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Activities include but are not limited to chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures, and other quality outcomes studies, and staff education regarding core measures and updates regarding new and enhance indicators.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    Bachelor's Degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
  1. State RN licensure or Certification in a healthcare field preferred, BLS certification.
  2. Excellent computer skills are required including proficiency in (MS Office - Word, Excel, Access).
  3. Experience in reviewing charts for care issues.
  4. Detail oriented organizational skills.
  5. Must be able to handle multiple cases, directions, and be able to follow-through.
  6. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Good analytical skills.
  8. Experience with Medical Staff communication is a must.
  9. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics.
  10. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and typing.

Paradise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $40.91 to $63.52. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
