Your Contribution
  • Execute work orders in a timely manner with quality standards
  • Host contractors for preventative maintenance purposes; this includes external vendors for services on electrical systems, sprinkler system, extinguisher, etc.
  • Repair and maintain environmental units within the facility to provide a comfortable workplace
  • Monitor applicable resources to permit uninterrupted Production (oxygen, petroleum, oil, lubricants, etc.)
  • Maintain the Water-For-Injection (WFI) system and boiler equipment with regular audits; willing to be the on-site expert for operation, repair and preventive maintenance
  • Respond to facility demands due to inclement weather and help schedule services to handle such demands
  • Facilitate the maintenance of site grounds, including snow removal, lawn care and manage any hazards that develop
  • Support Maintenance Manager with Pest Control activities, as needed
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the compressor system malfunctions and apply resolutions as required
  • Help guide preventative maintenance measures of facility equipment
  • Ensure equipment meets regulatory requirements
  • Participate in required trainings and meetings
  • Help guide and train new hires, when applicable
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures; along with adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow cGMP and adhere to all ISO and safety guidelines and policies, including Lock Out/Tag Out and PPE requirements; along with promoting a clean and organized work environment
  • Substitute for Lead Facilities Technician, as required
Your Profile
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Associates or Vocational School Diploma pertaining to Facilities Maintenance, strongly desired
  • At least 2 years of experience in a facilities maintenance role, highly preferred
  • Valid forklift driver's license, or ability to obtain such a license
  • Technical knowledge in plumbing, heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, required
  • Working within a fast-faced manufacturing setting
  • Basic PC skills
  • Understanding of ISO and cGMP standards
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Detail oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently
  • Sound communication skills
  • Service oriented approach
  • Work a fixes 8-hour shift schedule Monday to Friday, but some weekend/night work, as needed
  • Up to 5% travel, if needed to satisfy business demand
