Vice President, Novanta Growth System (NGS) & Continuous Improvement

Remote - United States or Europe (Germany, UK, or Spain)
Reports to: Co-Chief Operating Officer

We are looking for a strategic and inclusive leader to champion the Novanta Growth System (NGS) and embed a culture of Continuous Improvement across our global enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence, elevate performance, and inspire change at scale.

Your Mission

As Vice President of NGS & Continuous Improvement, you will:

• Serve as the enterprise-wide advocate for NGS, promoting Lean, CI, and innovation tools across all functions.
• Foster a culture of problem-solving, visual management, and Kaizen excellence.
• Lead strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, lead times, delivery, productivity, profitability, and employee engagement.
• Deliver NGS and Lean training across all levels, enabling teams to sustain improvements independently.
• Shape the Lean roadmap and drive measurable impact on business performance.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred); a master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
• A proven track record of success in Continuous Improvement and operations leadership within complex manufacturing environments.
• Deep expertise in Lean tools (e.g., Six Sigma, DMAIC, VSM, 5S, Visual Management).
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and facilitation skills.
• A collaborative, cross-functional mindset with a bias for action and a commitment to excellence.

The salary for this role will range from $230,200 to $368,300 annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.

Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives. Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
