Position Title: Forklift Operator
Wage: $20/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday, Overtime can be 2pm-12:30am or 6-hours on Saturday We are searching for candidates with prior sit-down forklift experience for this 2nd shift Receiving role! Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips - Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, organize, and store materials in designated areas - Accurately record received items into the inventory management system - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area - Follow established processes and standard operating procedures - Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding discrepancies or issues - Support overall warehouse operations as needed Forklift Operator Requirements: - Previous forklift experience in a warehouse environment preferred - Ability to frequently get on and off a forklift throughout the shift - Lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and follow established procedures - Basic computer literacy required - Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed - Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
